Diving in the Caribbean Bahamas area

Truly a diver's paradise, the Bahamas offer a variety of exceptional dive destinations. The famed blue holes, extraordinary deep inland sea pools, caves and tunnels, tender endless discovery and challenge for even the most experienced. Local dive operators offer guided dives, classes, and supply equipment. Unique dive experiences include sunken wrecks, shark dives, and eco-dives. With up to 100-foot visibility, night diving is another popular option. The Bahamas lay claim to some of the largest growing coral and the most abundant marine life in the Caribbean. Coral Canyons feature delicate scarlet fans and latticework. Diving tends to improve the farther one goes into the Out Islands, and Andros is an exceptional dive site.
